Online Marketing Title and Salary?

Hi everyone, at my last job I did not officially have a title. I am looking to look for a new job soon. Basically I did some Pay Per Click bidding using Adwords, I did hands on SEO, I also coordinate with the graphics designer to design newsletter and send it out to my list, and also start up an affiliate program. Also did some analytics reporting. I am not sure what title I should use on my resume. In addition, I will have my web analytics certification from the Web Analytics Association. What type of salary should I get? I’m in Manhattan.

Thanks!

I am not sure about the salary – but sounds a lot like my old job 😉
My title was Online Marketing Exec and my profile read: “Responsible for SEO (Organic Search), Paid Search, Emarketing and Affiliate Strategies”

What places should I see in the Philippines?

I am planning a trip to the Philippines and I am beginning my research on what I should see and places I should stay. My father is Filipino but left the Philippines so long ago that he is no help to my planning. 🙂 My boyfriend and I will start the trip by flying in to Manila for a night since my dad’s family is from nearby. I already know Manila is supposed to be dirty, ugly, etc but I still would like to experience it. We would then like to head off to one or two destinations and that is where I need your suggestions. We are looking for some place beachy and beautiful, but not over-the-top touristy/crowded or overdeveloped. Any suggestions? I have been looking at the Palawan Island (which has many beautiful pictures online) but have no idea which town or area to visit. I also would really like to see tarsiers during the trip but I can only find one sanctuary online and it is on the other side of the country from Palawan.

I am a Filipino and I travel around the country and blog about places. My blog does not accept advertising, and I do not accept free accommodations. You can check my blog for an honest assessment of places, inns and hotels, etc.

Bohol (tarsier) and Palawan can be visited one after the other, via Cebu. Ferries travel between Bohol and Cebu, and boats from Montenegro Shipping Lines traverse the Cebu-Palawan waters.

If you must give up one for the other, I suggest you go to Bohol. It has beautiful beaches like Palawan’s, but has more interesting sights and activities in store for visitors.

Read up on other destinations and you may even want to go some place else. On my homepage, search Bohol to know more about the place. I have 2 blog posts on Bohol.

yahoo online advertising success

I need ideas to promote my online business?

I started an online children’s resale company called Spoogles.com. I have already advertised on Perezhilton.com, google, yahoo, msn, various message boards, and stumbleupon.com…as well as handing out hundreds of promotional flyers. My company has been online for about two months with very little success. I know that I have a good idea…everything in the store is $3 and is backed by a 100% money back guarantee, however i just can’t seem to get it off the ground. Will someone PLEASE take a look at my website and give me some honest answers (no need to be a jerk, but constructive critisism is welcome)…and PLEASE give me some more ideas on how to promote.

Here are some ideas:

1) Answer questions on Yahoo Answers about clothes and put your link as the source if they wanna get related items

2) you can’t attract the Stumble Upon community with a STORE! Make some articles which will spread viral, like Funny Boys Pants or 10 Best Girls…whatever. That usually works. You’ll get a lot of backlinks.

3) Do article marketing and keyword research. There’s a great Google Trends tool from wordtracker, you may wanna visit this site about keyword research and download the free videos inside: http://www.thirtydayschallenge2008.com

4) What about video marketing?

There’s a difference between MARKETING and ADVERTISING especially on the internet. Don’t just advertise, market!

Any ways to make money online without paying too much or any at all?

I’ve been seaching for ways to mae money online, I dont mind working hard, typing up stuff whatever, except those surveys, im willing to do stuff to get paid, anyone know any good sights, Idont wanna have to pay for anything. Thanks

The Web offers tremendous opportunities for those who know how to harness it. You hear of stories of people who earn thousands if not millions of dollars from doing business on Web. While there are many scams (same way in the traditional business world), there are various ways you can legitimately make money on the Web.

Here are the main ways you can earn money from the Internet:

1. Sell products on the Web – Big boys like Amazon or Lillian Vernon online catalog or smaller businesses like BigKidsVideo.com or Candle4Less.com all sell products on the Web.

You can either sell: (a) through your own storefront through your own website or applications such as Yahoo Stores; or (b) sell through online auctions like eBay

http://www.ebay.com
http://auctions.yahoo.com/
http://www.overstock.com
http://www.amazon.com
http://www.ubid.com
http://www.liquidation.com

2. Information Delivery. Others such as About.com or EuropeforVisitors.com create content and monetize their content in a number of ways:

a. Advertising – there are several ways you can earn money from advertising:

1. Join an advertising network. Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that offer advertising space, and sell banner ads (and other advertising options) across them. Traffic requirement is often a minimum of 5,000 monthly impressions, although many do not accept sites hosted by free page services.

Burst Media http://www.burstmedia.com
Fastclick (ValueClick). http://www.fastclick.com
Advertising.com. http://www.advertising.com
Tribal Fusion http://www.tribalfusion.com

2. Participate in contextual advertising networks. Contextual advertising are text ads delivered based on the content of the web page using an automated system.

Google Adsense https://www.google.com/adsense/
Yahoo! Publishing Network (currently in beta and available to US publishers only) http://publisher.yahoo.com/
Intellixt http://vibrantmedia.com/site/web_01a5.htm
Quigo Adsonar http://www.quigo.com/adsonarexchange.htm
IndustryBrains http://www.industrybrains.com
Commission Junction Evolution http://www.cj.com
Kanoodle Brightads http://www.kanoodle.com/about/brightads.html
Clicksor http://www.clicksor.com/affiliate_programs.php
Contextweb http://www.contextweb.com/
Bidclix http://www.bidclix.com/
Bidvertiser http://www.bidvertiser.com/

3. Sell advertising for your site directly. This is admittedly a more difficult route for a small business site wanting to earn advertising revenues. But hey, as they say: “no pain, no gain!”

b. Affiliate Programs – you sell other people’s products that your audience may be interested in; and you get a certain commission after the desired action was done (whether a sale, a lead, subscription to email newsletter, or however this is defined)

c. Paid online content. Hoovers.com or WebmasterWorld.com Supporters forum all require paid subscription before accessing the information

d. Content licensing and syndication. Some publishers such as the Associated Press get paid every time their content is published elsewhere

Chiropractic Marketing To Schools

I am back on the market and need some advice…?

I just got out of a 5 year pretty serious relationship, with a girl I thought I was going to marry. It has been about 2 months since we broke up and I still miss her like crazy. She started seeing some guy only a month after we broke up… do you think that is too soon???
I dont think I am ready for a relationship quite yet, but I am tired of feeling sad and alone. It has been so long since I have asked someone out. I am in chiropractic school now and there are some definate possibilities there, but how do ask someone out without sounding like a dork? Help me get back into the game please!!!

Please listen too me.

Do not date someone until you are absoulutly sure you are over your ex, i was dating this guy for 3 weeks and i was falling in love with him, well he broke up with me because he was over his ex, because they just broke up a month before we started dating. It hurts so don’t rebound some poor innocent girl.

I would let them know up front that you are not looking for anything serious right now, because you just got out of a really serious relationship, and make sure they know that you just want too have fun!

Good luck and im sorry about your ex

online advertising management tools

To make money on Google AdWords, most AdWords advertisers use strategies that increase their bottom line on complete autopilot. They watch out for the latest tools or methods that are out in order to continually remain at the top of their game. Read on to discover 5 guaranteed tips that can help any serious advertiser make money with Google AdWords daily.

Tip one

Strive for low cost per click: Google advertisers are continually seeking how to lower their cost per click. The smart ones lower their cost by click by selecting content network. This means their adverts will show as Google AdSense on other peoples’ websites. They then monitor their adverts to show in specific countries and websites with high click through rate.

Tip two

Promote very good products. Since money is spent for each visitor, products being promoted are selected very carefully. To promote products with Google AdWords, make sure you select products that are a threat. New products and quality products whose price is lower than their competitors fall under this category.

Tip three

Promote products that do not require credit card. Cost per action programs whose offers are very good are normally promoted with Google AdWords. This is especially cost effective if the cost per click is far lower than the cost per action payout. Others are products where they pay for only shipping and handling.

Tip four

Use spy bot blockers. Most ppc advertisers now spy their competitors’ ads and keywords using spy tools before launching their AdWords campaigns. This does not go down well with the people whose hard work is being spied upon. To stop this, some people now use software that block spy-bots from accessing their ads and keywords.

Tip five

Use one landing page for all keyword groups. It is Google’s requirement that each group of keywords should have their own ad group and each ad group should have their own landing page. Who has the time to create hundreds of landing pages? This is why some people now ad a code that automatically inserts the keyword for each ad group into one landing page. This means instead of creating many landing pages for many ad groups, one can now create one landing page for all ad groups.

These are just few tips for making money with Google AdWords. Click here for 18 other strategies that will explode your AdWords campaigns; You will to see how I make over $250 daily with AdWords.

Couponing and stockpiling…………….. How to?

Ok, so I’m new to couponing and I’ve seen lots of different things online where people use their coupons and get great deals (free or very close to it) and they stockpile for emergencies, charities, churches, families, gifts, etc. I was wondering if any of you do couponing and stockpiling? I am very interested in stocking up my house with much needed items as well as helping others when I get plenty, I just need to know where to start and how in the world do I get these wonderful deals like some of these other people that I see online, $1880 worth of groceries for $419, $200 worth of groceries for $2 or $3. In my area of VA (Blacksburg area) I don’t know of any stores that double coupons, we have Kroger, Walmart, Foodlion, CVS, Walgreens, Super Dollar, Dollar General and Dollar General Market. Any ideas or advise would be very much appreciated!!

I do both. I started stockpiling after the first fires roared through San Diego county where I live because stores close, there are power failures so cash gets hard to come by and we all realized that sheltering in place rather than evacuating could be to our benefit. You really have to know and watch your prices because sometimes just having a coupon, even doubled, you will pay more than you would for a store brand that is equal in quality. That being said, if you can get a double or triple whammy on a product, you can often beat the store price and get the item much cheaper. A double whammy is when the store has the item on sale and then you have a coupon that they double. A triple whammy is when you take advantage of both of those savings vehicles and then get a rebate on that item, too. But, fewer and fewer grocery stores, drug stores and discounters are offering double coupons and when they do in our area it is a limited time offer. There are online coupon sites that you can check every time you shop and then compare those prices with the store brand to see which is more economical. Also, it used to be that the larger the size the lower the per unit cost, but that is no longer the case, so you have to check that as well. A final hint, if you have Big Lots in your area they are definitely a place to visit regularly. They often have products far below retail because not only do they buy overstock and over production, but they also buy out stock when manufacturer’s change a label and drastically discount it. And, at the end of every season they discount seasonal merchandise anywhere from 60-90%. I buy all my Christmas cards after the holidays when I get a box of 25 for $1-2 for the next year. I never shop the Thanksgiving Day sales because the price will be better the day after Christmas through the week after New Years. Stores take the returns from Christmas and mark them down almost at cost.
