online marketing customization

Can anyone recommend a good hosted ecommerce provider (UK)?

I’m looking for a new host for my online shop. I would like a product that I manage myself (upload products etc) with options for customisation. I am based in the UK so if using a US-based host their product must be suitable for the UK market too. Ideally, it would cost no more than £50/month with no minimum contract.
I would like to add around 1000 products.
Can anyone recommend a good provider of such a service? Preferably, it will work with Protx as a payment provider.
Many thanks for your help!

I have used many times and it is very good product, version 6 has just been launched which allows multiple options and supports unlimited amount of products.

it costs approx £200 for the software and you can pick up hosting for around £150 per year, contact me if you need any help.

I also use protx with this cart.

Affiliate marketing scheme ( Affiliate Junktion) IS THIS A CON?

I have just come across a website that is making some amazing promises. Its called Affiliate junktion and they promise people who sign up could realistically earn $150 per day. It is all to do with marketing there software and generating leads for them, they apparently provide all the software needed and offer support. There is absolutly no cost to sign up. I am normaly really sceptical with online promises because they always seem too good to be true and usually have hidden costs but this site is definatly free to join. Has anyone here had any experience with this company and if so could you possibly tell me what it would involve on my part. Are these realistic earnings if I was to put in say 5 hours per day? Or is it all just another online scam? Any advice or info would be great? check them out with this address to see for yourself.

its a them with the word “scam” and you will see. If your looking for leads for earning there are only 2 sites i recommend for job leads. and they are both free and you will see the quality of the post. they aren’t trying to make a buck off you. the other site is junk..sorry

New Online Advertising Techniques

What is the best online advertising for a new website?

We just opened a new website We specialize in boutique baby gift items and toys. We looking for ways to promote the site. What marketing techniques work best to promote a new website? Does anyone have experience with yahoo! directory? What about purchasing key words?

Don’t waste your $299 annual payments with Yahoo Directory – no one goes there anymore. You can spend that $299 better and get more traffic by buying pay per click advertising. You can use Google Adwords or Yahoo

Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:

1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement – if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important — and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more – that’s additional traffic that you get for FREE!

3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.

If you are going to read only one piece on search engine optimization, I suggest you read Brett Tabke of’s “Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone: 26 steps to 15k a day.”

4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Here is a comprehensive list of where to submit your articles;_ylt=AhzreGmnCUicOoyedqypscUjzKIX?qid=1006022407481

6. Improve your conversion. Getting visitors is one thing; getting them to buy your products is a whole different story. Read the article ” How To Sell More on the Web: 30 Tips To Increase Conversion Rates For An Ecommerce Site ” for tips on how to improve your conversion rates.

7. Post a link to your site for free where it is allowed (always read the Terms of Use). Examples are:

Online Advertising Through Email

online advertising through email

Someone is sending emails through my friends hotmail accounts. What should they do?

A lot of my friends are getting their hotmail accounts hacked into.
They can still check and send emails but when they aren’t online msn messages are sent from their account advertising porn and dating sites.
Is there anything they can do because it’s getting annoying.

Sounds like they picked up a virus.
They should immediately have their computer checked for a bug or ‘bugs.’
Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if they do not have one yet.
I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also.
Changing their password may not be enough to secure their E-mail account again, but try it and see how it behaves.
They may have to open a new one with a different ID name and password.

How do you become a professional dog trainer?

I have trained our three dogs myself, two of which are rescues that came to us with issues. I love working with animals and even my husband thinks I should go for it espeically since our friends keep coming to us for advice on what to do with their dogs. So far Iive been able to help them.

* Join the Association of Pet Dog Trainers ( where you can network with other trainers online, attend conferences, and continue your education even if you are not a professional trainer just yet.

* The book “So You Want to be a Dog Trainer” by Nicole Wilde ( contains info on all of the above topics plus advertising, equipment, phone tips, trainer etiquette and more, and has sample forms you can use in your business.

* There is now a certification offered by the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers ( Once you have enough experience, consider becoming certified

Hope this helps =)

Chiropractic Marketing Solution

chiropractic marketing solution

Why do people think chiropractors are so bad?

The negative image of the chiropractor confuses me. Most people I know who have seen a chiropractor love them. Most people who ‘hate’ the chiropractors have never been to one but have heard all sorts of stuff from persons unqualified to make suggestions. What is even more disturbing is the fact much of the information or misinformation comes from one small group of highly paid, vocal and ignorant souls apparently paid to create a negative image. In fact when these groups are taken to court they lose and lose huge. Yet they maintain funding from anonymous sources who apparently pay their legal fees and foot the bill when they lose. It is my opinion that this is an ongoing effort by the medical elite to maintain a death grip on the health care industry which they feel should be exclusively theirs and theirs alone. Mine, its all mine and nobody else can have it.

Like a bunch of spoiled children.

As long as I can remember, the medical community has rejected anything that does not fit their protocol for medical issues. They profess to be scientifically based, but when you dig deep into the studies it is obvious profit agendas, ghost writers, rejection of data that is contrary to the objective of the study, and many things have flawed that assumption. We now find ourselves in a huge mess where drug companies are controlling the health industry and with this money and power, they have been launching many campaigns on many fronts to protect their positions. Chiropractic medicine has been here for thousands of years being practiced in China as part of the three disciplines used in traditional Chinese medicine and with great success. Drug companies & so called “modern medicine” has been around for about 100 years.

The incredibly disgusting statistics of modern medicine focused on drugs that treat symptoms, not root causes of disease is causing people to look elsewhere for help. Modern drug medicine is under pressure to protect their territory now and this is causing marketing people to generate this negative attitude toward chiropractic physicians.

I have personally been helped greatly by a chiropractor and would never consider drug medicine being pushed by doctors as a solution. Modern medicine should be the LAST RESORT to any medical condition rather than the first resort. As modern medicine continues to fail people, I’m hearing more and more people saying they do NOT want to go to a typical doctor for help and are looking at alternatives that do work. And as more people are helped by alternatives, the more you will see the legal drug pushers fight back.

Chiropractic medicine works and works well. I also find chiropractors to be very honest with people as to what they believe they can fix and what they can’t. That is not been my experience with doctors in the medical field. Drug experimentation and “Well let’s see if this works” attitude is the rule, not the exception.

good luck to you

What are the best ways to advertise an online business?

I am in charge of advertising for Jynxed Hosting,, but have exhausted my own ideas. What would you deem the most effective terms of advertising for an online business, such as that of a Web hosting service?

Some of the ways you can advertise your business are:
1. Post an article about your business on related blogs and get free visitors and back links
2. Submitting to directories
3. Free classifieds
4. Forums

Send an email with more information about your business to for free help on finding new customers and increasing sales.

What kind of advertising can I do for my college area restaurant?

I own a little restaurant in the college area of San Diego. I’m wondering if you can give me any tips for advertising my sandwich shop to the college students.

Print advertising? Online Advertising? How much does it cost?

Can you also give any ideas on special events or promotions to get customers in?

In addition to the suggestions from the previous person, if I were you I would look into the nearby college newspaper and find out their rates for advertising in print and on the website. Contacting someone in the sports or student activities departments of the college to find out about possible sponsorship opportunities (this will probably cost more than advertising in the campus newspaper).

Word of mouth and flyers are probably going to be the cheapest way to get your name out there. You can hire students to hand out flyers on campus. Where I went to college (University of New Mexico) there was always a guy handing out flyers in a funny outfit, everyone laughed but they were one of the most popular lunch places in the area.

Good luck!

Online Advertising Affordable

What do you think for a business on the side?

I would like to start my own business handmaking/using a sewing machine making baby & children’s clothing, primarily the ages of newborn to 4 years. This would mainly be out of my house and on an online store which I will build.

I would like these products to be affordable and a great quality. Some things I will be making are sleepers, packs of onesies, dresses, pants/shirt, shorts/t-shirt combinations, and jumpsuit/overalls. I would also like to do bedding and blankets later on.

1.) What should I be charging for these items, as a general idea?

2.) What would be a great way to advertise without really having to spend a lot of money?

3.) What would be a catchy name for my line of clothing?

Thank you very much!!! =)

Do some looking on
