Do the supermarkets in florida deliver groceries like they do in the UK?

Going to Orlando on holiday and staying in a villa. Thought it would be good to buy groceries online then have them delivered to villa day after we arrive. Save taking the kids shopping!
Thanks in advance.

Delivery from supermarkets is not very common in the USA. There are a few private companies that do offer this service and charge about $12 extra. Goodings supermarket close to the Disney Hotel Plaza, does have an on line delivery service. Goodings is an upcale market and their phone is 407-827-1200 (24 hrs) (You can also google for others who will do your shopping and deliver to your villa)

chiropractic marketing services

Anyone ever hear of AmeriPlan??

What are your experiences? Do you use their services or work for them??

As is expected, there are some who will love what Ameriplan has to offer and there will be those who despise of it.

I am part of the side that is all for Ameriplan.

And just to touch base on a couple of the previous answers that were made…

1. It’s true, Ameriplan is not Insurance, nor do we claim to be or even choose to. Insurance in itself has it’s own pros and cons. It’s a great thing to have and I would never tell anyone who can afford insurance or is eligible for coverage that Ameriplan would be a better option, they should have the insurance first and if needed this on the side. But on the other side of Insurance, it doesn’t always do what we would hope it would.

What is someone to do who has been denied coverage and has no other options available to them? If your denied because of a pre-existing condition then there is no way for you to get Insurance, that is unless you are able to find an employer that offers health benefits and either you or your spouse can get a job there, other than that what are they to do?

And how about if a person is making just enough money to not qualify for state offered plans, such as Medicaid. And yet they don’t make enough money to be able to even afford their monthly premiums for insurance, even through an employer?

One more… even for many who are covered by an Insurance plan, that doesn’t mean that they have any sort of Dental, Vision. Chiropractic, etc. that is included. And Dental insurance tends to have many, many limits as to what is covered and how much is allowed each year.

Also, as for not having an idea as to how insurance works since it’s not insurance and we don’t have to be licensed to market the plans…. I personally have 2 Insurance Agents that are part of my team and I work with on a daily basis. They continue to do Insurance, but also use Ameriplan as an additional option for those clients who need it. Instead of throwing away a lead simply because they have been denied coverage and there is no way they can help them, they can’t change the rules, those are the people who need what Ameriplan has to offer more than anyone else.

I did all but take the state exam to be a licensed Health & Life agent, and if I wanted to do so I could. So I may not be licensed, but I do know about Insurance and how it works.

Moving On…

2. That all it is, is a List?? Yes there are many discount type plans similar to what Ameriplan offers, and those companies often do purchase a list or rent a list of providers from a list broker, which means they have no idea who is actually accepting the plan or what sort of office they run either. But Ameriplan is completely Proprietary with the Dental side, and getting close to being completely Proprietary with the Medical as well. What this means is that Ameriplan actually contracts the Providers themselves. They actually have Provider Reps who go speak with those Dentist and Doctors, explain our plan and how it works, and if they would like to become part of our group, they go through the entire process to do so.

And it’s no big secret as to who is or is not a participating provider. You can do a search of providers in any given area by clicking on “Locate a Provider” right on the website.
http://providersearch.ameriplanusa.com

3. The Montana issue… Yes there was an issue with Montana, all due to a not so honest IBO (Independent Business Owner) that was with Ameriplan, who was signing up members for the plan regardless of whether or not there were any providers near them or if they were 4 hours away. Ameriplan did in fact handle the issue. Ameriplan has our backs covered in regards to the legal side of things, that’s why we have rules & regulations that we are to follow. But with 60,000 IBO’s there is no way they can watch over each and everyone of them to make sure that they are doing what they should. It takes a bit of common sense and overall honest person to know that this should never happen. If we can’t help someone, like there are no providers in their area, or for whatever reason, then we don’t enroll them. It’s that simple.

I could go on and on and rather than do that here as this is long enough already. All I want to say is do your research. Find out for yourself whether or not Ameriplan is what it is. I had to do so myself in order to truly be able to offer this to people, I had to know for certain that it would in fact benefit them and it wasn’t a waste of time or money for anyone.

Good Luck!

Yahoo Online Advertising Revenues

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

What is the best online advertising solution?

I have used Google AdSense, however I would like to use a different service to earn revenue on my website. Which are the best?

It is hard to say what is the best because your mileage may vary.

For me for example, Adsense brings in 75% of my income while banner ad networks such as Valueclick and BurstMedia combined only brings in about 5% — while for some sites the reverse may be true. In my case, Adsense is by far the BEST program.

1. Join an advertising network. Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that offer advertising space, and sell banner ads (and other advertising options) across them. Traffic requirement is often a minimum of 5,000 monthly impressions, although many do not accept sites hosted by free page services.

Burst Media http://www.burstmedia.com
Fastclick (ValueClick). http://www.fastclick.com
Advertising.com. http://www.advertising.com
Tribal Fusion http://www.tribalfusion.com

2. Participate in contextual advertising networks. Contextual advertising are text ads delivered based on the content of the web page using an automated system.

Google Adsense https://www.google.com/adsense/
Yahoo! Publishing Network (currently in beta and available to US publishers only) http://publisher.yahoo.com/
Intellixt http://vibrantmedia.com/site/web_01a5.htm
Quigo Adsonar http://www.quigo.com/adsonarexchange.htm
IndustryBrains http://www.industrybrains.com
Commission Junction Evolution http://www.cj.com
Kanoodle Brightads http://www.kanoodle.com/about/brightads.html
Clicksor http://www.clicksor.com/affiliate_programs.php
Contextweb http://www.contextweb.com/
Bidclix http://www.bidclix.com/
Bidvertiser http://www.bidvertiser.com/

3. Sell advertising for your site directly. This is admittedly a more difficult route for a small business site wanting to earn advertising revenues. But hey, as they say: “no pain, no gain!”

Will a psychology statistics class count towards my science gpa for med school?

The class is listed as a psychology course, but it’s all about data presentation and organization. Really, it’s more of a math class, so I didn’t know if it would count towards my science/math gpa, or if they would just look at the name of the course and assume it was a psych class?

I’m sorry, but since it is listed under psych, it will not be counted in your science GPA, or BCPM GPA (comprised of courses, which are considered to be Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics courses).

See the resource below; only classes listed with “BCPM” will count towards your science GPA

Course Classification

Each course must be assigned a course classification based entirely on the primary content of the course. See the listing of course classification examples below for guidance in selecting Course Classifications. The Course Classifications below are bolded, and are titled as they appear in the Course Classification drop-down list. Click each Course Classification to open a list of example courses for that classification. The bulleted items beneath each bolded Course Classification are examples of courses for which you should select that bolded Course Classification. You are responsible for selecting the correct Course Classification. However, AMCAS reserves the right to change Course Classifications if the assigned Course Classification clearly does not apply. AMCAS is not responsible for any processing delays or incorrect GPA calculations resulting from incorrect Course Classifications. In addition, AMCAS will not make corrections to course classifications based on information that becomes available after you submit your application.
Course Classifications, in addition to describing the courses you enter, are used in the calculation of your AMCAS GPA. On the list of Course Classification examples below, Course Classifications that are followed by “BCPM” indicate that courses for which you choose this Course Classification will be calculated in your BCPM GPA. The BCPM GPA is comprised of courses, which are considered to be Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics courses. Course Classifications that are not followed by “BCPM” indicate that courses for which you choose this Course Classification will be calculated in your AO (All Other) GPA.

How do you start an online small catalog business?

I would like to start a business online but I’m afraid that I have absolutely no clue as how to start. Is there anyone that has successfully done this who could give me some advice? Thanks to everyone who answers this.

Since you’ve never been in business before, I would strongly recommend that you talk to a business counselor before you do anything especially spend money. You have to determine whether you’ll start a web based business or one with a store front. I’d call the local office of SCORE (go to http://www.score.org and input your zip code to find the chapter nearest you), the advice is FREE.

The counselor at SCORE will most likely advise you to write a business plan which is very good advice because it will force you to dig out all of the start up details and the costs of starting a small online catalog business and force you to also understand all of the aspects of this business including the customers you’ll concentrate on (your market ) and how you’ll go after them.

You’ll need to register the business with your state controller’s office and make sure that you have any city and county licenses if any are needed where you live. All of this will come out in a business plan.
Try this link :

Good Luck

Creating An Online Advertising Budget

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

creating an online advertising budget

What is a good marketing strategy when starting a webshop?

We just want a general idea on how to proceed with our marketing. We will shortly open a new webshop, with a unique product for children big and small 🙂 …

How to best market our shop?

I would begin with the basics:

1. Branding – logo and business card very important the logo will determine if people want to be associated with your salon or brand
2. get yourself an on-line on all the directories specific to your location things like freeindex, yell, thompson
3. create yourself a facebook/linked in account specific to your business – show off your work there, get customer quotes on there recommendations etc try and get as many quotes from your customers you need to keep this consistent and monitor what people are saying etc make friends with your clients on these sites
4. website does not have to be huge site but make it slick, easy on the eye get a good logo done make sure the site is reflective of how you feel the quality of your products are …services, opening times, seasonal special offers, customers book online??…selling products, advice,
5. Direct marketing…you can either buy data from a data agency or sift for it online we are not talking about 000’s of pounds here but more like 16p per record try and get contact address email phone (mobile preferably). Also for your existing customers to ensure you keep them get them to fill out a satisfaction card after each purchase. Also the type of data you can get especially if you are targeting children go directly to their schools and advertise via them
6. Association – maybe with a complimentary business where if they send anybody over to you they get a % off and vice versa but remember this association need to be specific to your business and should complement what you do
7. Advertising on local websites, magazines newspapers etc….i’m not a big fan of this especially for small businesses as i find it very costly with not the same return. Radio advertising is good but again find the radio station specific to your audience

The purpose of doing any marketing is to deliver an integrated campaign targeting customers from a number of angles to give you awareness and leads so this will enforce you message and your brand which will then give you consistent leads…. remember nothing happens over night and you need to be consistent with your marketing to ensure a successful marketing campaign. The intensity and frequency of your marketing will be determined by how busy you are if you are full then you don’t need to do a lot look at just awareness building and customer retention on your existing customers to protect them from your competitors and if you are at that stage then word of mouth which should be your most powerful tool is kicking in. They key thing to remember is that your core competence needs to be consistently good to ensure your marketing works…and marketing has a habit of biting back where people are not delivering on what they promise on their marketing.

reputation is imperative if you stay on top of your game and stay in tune with the latest developments in the industry and are consistently improving your skill levels then your customers will not want to go anywhere else.

if you look at the above process and start your planning using the framework i have detailed you can still be moving with the key points i have specifically highlighted for your business they will form the crux of your marketing other elements may come from your research and planning not all the points need to be implemented look at the timing and look at the budget. Also ask your customers how do they prefer to be communicated with that should narrow down your marketing effort.

Online Marketing With Yahoo

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

Is there an ethics code to online marketing?

I have noticed that people who use yahoo answers to market their product are shallow enough to report other people who do the same. The question then is whether there should be a small amount of ethics applied here.

I don’t market anything but I report spammers anyways.

This is for answering questions not for marketing products.

Good Luck!
